Reporting to the Executive Director, Care Sustainability, the Director, Financial Planning & Client
Support provides strategic and operations decision support to the Senior Leadership for the
designated areas of responsibility across the organization. The Director liaises with the business
stakeholders and operational teams to ensure proper planning, monitoring, forecasting, and
reporting processes are in place, and provides senior level advice/expertise for operational risks
and issues. Upon industry and gap analysis, the Director influences forecasting and changes to
resource allocation to ensure organizational sustainability and alignment of strategic priorities.
The Director assumes overall responsibility for the review, analysis and validation of key
performance indicators in context of the financial budget, including communicating operational
issues and opportunities
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree (ideally in Business Administration, Commerce,
and/or Finance) supplemented with approximately seven years of progressive leadership
experience. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of complex enterprisewide budgets and/or strategic and senior financial planning duties within a major public sector
organization. The role requires superior interpersonal communication, stakeholder engagement
skills with a commitment to building an effective and dynamic team environment. Excellent
customer service, strong leadership, engagement, and communication competencies, in addition
to integrity, trust and professionalism are required. An equivalent combination of education and
experience will be considered.
