Jason started his career in 1999 building internet companies & products through the First and Second Waves of the Internet such as Netscape 8, software security titan Paretologic.com and award-winning VC backed Indochino.com. Jason is now focused on investing in the Third Wave of the Internet which has begun integrating seamlessly and pervasively through every aspect of our lives, changing how we live. He believes investing in diversity is a key component to building the New Economy of tomorrow.
Jason is an active business plan competition judge for Stanford, MIT & the World Bank. He is a regular guest speaker on the topics of the New Economy, Startups & Diversity in Business and recently spoke at Canada’s 1stMinorities in Canada conference hosted by the Metis Nation held in Canada’s capital city of Ottawa, Canada.
Jason is currently an active Board Member of Toronto based WoodGreen.org, With a rich history spanning more than 80 years, WoodGreen is one of the largest social service agencies in Toronto, serving 37,000 people each year from 36 locations. He was formerly, the youngest Ministry Appointed Board of Governor at Douglas College, Board Member at the Forum for Women Entrepreneur Charity, and Chair of the Coquitlam Foundation.
