What information do we collect?
We ask users to provide a username and email address. synergyonboards.ca is administered by WordPress.com and WordPress.com handles information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
We collect information via contact forms on our website and through the documents you upload or share with us.
SEBCG does not store credit card information at any time and only uses it for the payment when posting classified Ads, signing-up or signing up for events or memberships.

We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, social media platforms (such as LinkedIn), as well as from other third parties. How we use your information
At synergyonboards.ca, we process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, and in compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent.
Members’ profiles are only accessible to the SEBCG Webmaster, SEBCG Administrator, Privacy Officer, and IT Manager, all of whom sign a pledge to keep member information confidential.
We use personal information collected via our Sites for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests (“Business Purposes”), in order to enter into or perform a contract with you (“Contractual”), with your consent (“Consent”), and/or for compliance with our legal obligations (“Legal Reasons”). 1. To send you marketing and promotional communications for Business Purposes and/or with your Consent. Some of the communication includes, available board and executive opportunities, upcoming events and announcements, membership renewal notices and regular newsletter

- To respond to legal requests and prevent harm for Legal Reasons. If we receive a subpoena or other legal request, we may need to inspect the data we hold to determine how to respond.

Members can edit their profile by using their login information and saving the profile. You also have the right to request access to the personal information we collect from you, change that information, or delete it in some circumstances.
