ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE
The Divisions of Family Practice acknowledge that we work on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of many different Indigenous Nations throughout British Columbia. Divisions of Family Practice are an innovation in healthcare in BC, designed to support and advocate for family physicians, increase primary healthcare capacity and improve patient health outcomes. The North Shore Division is a non-profit society whose members are family physicians on the North Shore.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director, PCN is responsible for ensuring the Ministry of Health (MOH) deliverables are being achieved, that access to resources is equitable, and operational practices are consistent across all North Shore PCN’s. The Director supervises PCN managers and change management staff, and works collaboratively with physicians, Vancouver Coastal Health, Squamish Nation, Tsleil-Waututh Nation, the Aboriginal Network, community agencies, and other stakeholders to operationalize the networks.

The successful candidate will have a Masters’ degree in a relevant discipline with seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, including minimum two (2) years healthcare management in a unionized setting. An equivalent combination of education, training, and management experience may be considered. Previous experience working directly with physicians and/or in primary care preferred. The preferred candidate will have excellent communication, consultation, and relationship building skills to function within a complex multi-stakeholder environment. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing complex quality improvement and change management initiatives in interdisciplinary clinical settings with multiple stakeholders.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000
